Health, we work in communities to improve health, reduce inequalities and support people to make lasting lifestyle changes. We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Stop Smoking Advisor to join our Blackburn with Darwen team to help

improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the local population.

You’ll work directly with local residents to:

• Deliver stop smoking support and explain treatment options so clients can make informed choice
• Motivate individuals to make positive behaviour changes and create personalised quit plans
• Provide face‑to‑face and telephone support, including CO monitoring and NRT guidance
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and manage your own caseload
• Work with GP practices and community partners to promote the service and reach vulnerable groups

This is a varied, people‑facing role where no two days are the same, and every interaction makes a difference.

You’ll be:

• Passionate about health and behaviour change
• Confident working with diverse and sometimes vulnerable groups
• Empathetic, organised and a strong communicator

You’ll have:

• A certified NCSCT Smoking Cessation
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience supporting lifestyle change or health improvement
