We are seeking a Phlebotomy Health care Assistant to join our Secondary Care Services based in our dermatology clinics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive and friendly team that makes a difference in how health services are delivered to patients.

Preferred qualifications include: previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or other clinical setting; a Phlebotomy qualification; and experience in collecting and processing venous blood samples. Reliable, professional, independent, and able to contribute to the team with excellent computer skills are required.

Responsibilities include:

supporting dermatologists and nurses in face‑to‑face clinics; assisting with minor procedures; conducting own phlebotomy and medical photography clinics; completing questionnaires and taking specialised images; ordering supplies and equipment; explaining procedures to patients; undertaking delegated tasks; maintaining a safe and clean environment; ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and privacy; entering patient data into computer systems with attention to detail; maintaining confidentiality; and being professional, timely, and reliable.
