Location: Rishton

GS Social Care Solutions Ltd are looking for a Residential Support Workers to work with us on a part time basis. We also have a temporary 12 month contract for working days in Great Harwood. Candidates must be able to work 12 hour shifts. Interviews will be held on the basis of right to work and driving licence checks being completed.

Start dates are to be discussed at interview.

Role Overview

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll deliver:

  • 24-hour, person-centred care within a home environment
  • Practical and emotional support tailored to individuals' needs
  • Assistance with daily living: personal care, meals, housekeeping
  • Encouragement of independence, dignity, communication, and well-being
  • Support with outings, appointments, and community inclusion
  • Accurate recording of observations and liaising with nurses/managers
  • Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams (nurses, therapists, social workers)
  • Adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality policies
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individual care and support plans to foster progress and independence
  • Provide personal care support with compassion and respect
  • Facilitate daily living activities and meaningful engagement
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and professionals
  • Proactively identify and elevate health or behavioural concerns
  • Participate in team handovers, meetings, and reflective practices
