EQUANS is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Blackburn Central High School, BB2 3HJ
. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.
Working a 2 shift pattern rotating weekly -
SHIFT 1 6.00 AM till 14.00 PM
SHIFT 2 14.00 PM till 10.00 PM
What will you deliver?Responsible for the day to day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard. Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement. For this role you must undergo DBS clearance; ability to pass is essential.

- Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
- Experience of supervising the work of others
- Possess good communication and customer care skills
- Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles
- Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
