Registered Nurse; RMN​/RGN Bank

Role Overview

As a bank Registered Nurse at Acer Lodge, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here. You can work the hours you want and take additional shifts as needed, achieving a great work/life balance. You will lead by example, ensuring team members have the right support and guidance. You will provide comfort to those who need it, liaise with external departments, families, team members and management, and be responsible for ordering and administering medication.

• Collaborate with the management team and ensure all relevant information is handed over at shift change.
• Support each person who lives in the home and enable them to live their way every day.
• Represent the Acer Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents and visitors.
• Coordinate with residents, staff, GPs and other multidisciplinary team members to promote excellent care.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with in a similar environment desirable.
• Valid NMC Pin – no restrictions.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self‑motivated and able to work independently.
