Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for your next opportunity in Blackburn, Lancashire?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years' experience to join a supportive and inclusive team in a busy small animal practice. With a diverse caseload, excellent facilities and a strong surgical focus, this role offers plenty of opportunity to develop your clinical skills while making a genuine difference to pets and their owners.
The RoleYou'll have the opportunity to manage a diverse range of cases and develop your skills across both general practice and surgery, with the clinic seeing a substantial surgical caseload including orthopaedic cases
.
The working pattern is:
- 38 hours per week
- 4-day working week
- 1:4 or less Saturday day rota
- Full-time, permanent position following probation
- Visa sponsorship available

About YouWe're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 3 years' experience who is confident working in a busy small animal environment.
You'll ideally:
- Be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Have 3+ years' experience in small animal practice
- Be confident managing a varied medical and surgical caseload
- Have an interest in or experience with surgery
- Be keen to develop your clinical skills
- Have excellent communication and client care skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
Orthopaedic experience would be advantageous, given the strong surgical caseload, but this is also an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to further develop their surgical skills.
