We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Town & Country, part of inspiring vet care. Your day-to-day duties will involve a mixture of consultations and surgery, you will be responsible for the work up and care of patients, there will be some sole charge.

At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.

Practice Highlights

We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you. Our full-time vets usually work 4 full days with a day off during the week and you would be part of the Saturday rota which would be 1:4/5 Saturdays with a day in lieu.

We have no OOH or Bank holidays which is great for a work-life balance. However, we are happy to discuss working patterns as we understand how important a good work/life balance is and we would be happy to discuss part time hours.

"Town and Country is a great place to work, you will find us a friendly and helpful bunch, with advice and support from all the experienced team, management, receptionists, nurses and vets. We have a few members of staff who have been here for many years, some have trained with us and stayed with us, the longest being 30 years! I myself started on reception in 2006, then was made administrator and then was promoted to Office Manager.

I left for a brief spell of 18 months in 2021 due to a restructure, I missed working at the practice and with the team, in 2023 I had the opportunity to return as Practice Manager and did so. The team welcomed be back with open arms, it was great to be back in practice"
