This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially focused sales professional with a proven track record of generating and converting new business, building long-term client relationships, and consistently exceeding targets.

You will manage a mix of inbound opportunities and outbound pipeline generation, taking full ownership of the sales journey from initial enquiry through to conversion and ongoing relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively sell the features and benefits of vehicle leasing through Hippo Fleet Solutions
  • Use a consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and deliver tailored leasing solutions within agreed KPIs and timescales
  • Manage customers end-to-end, from enquiry through to conversion, maintaining a strong rapport and trust throughout the journey
  • Confidently challenge competitor pricing to ensure comparisons are accurate and genuinely like-for-like
  • Operate in line with Hippo’s framework, ensuring full compliance with data handling, regulatory requirements, and Treating Customers Fairly principles
  • Effectively manage and progress opportunities using CRM systems, driving a conversion rate above 20%
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure customer propositions remain competitive and relevant
  • Maintain and develop an existing database of Salary Sacrifice clients
  • Consistently achieve 100% of monthly sales targets as a baseline KPI (targets are stretching but achievable)
  • Identify opportunities for process and product improvement, staying curious and informed about best practices within the industry
About You
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or fleet/leasing (automotive experience preferred)
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to influence and close
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building abilities
  • Commercially astute, with the confidence to challenge pricing and customer perceptions
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing a live sales pipeline via CRM
  • Target-driven, resilient, and motivated by performance and reward
