Skilled Fire Door Carpenter

Position: Skilled Fire Door Carpenter (Contract)

We are working with a leading name in the Passive Fire industry that has experienced exceptional growth over the past year. We are seeking an experienced Skilled Fire Door Carpenters for social housing projects in and around Blackburn

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver both corrective maintenance and new fire door installations within ongoing projects.

• Ensure all fire doors are installed, tested, and maintained in line with the latest fire safety requirements.

• Conduct precise on-site measurements and make adjustments for perfect fit and function.

• Uphold strict compliance with all relevant fire regulations and quality standards.

• Partner with project teams to ensure timely completion and excellence in all installations.

Requirements:

• Blue CSCS Card with NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery

• Experience installing fire doors

• Strong knowledge of current fire door regulations and safety standards

• BM TRADA certification (preferred)

• Must have own tools and be able to work independently with own transport
