  • The Role:

    We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist with a strong background in helping patients with communication and feeding. You will be working in our Pediatric setting at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot Idaho. As a member of our team this role requires a proactive individual who embodies our core values and is committed to excellence in every task.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to set achievable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to improve patients' communication, speech and social language skills.

  • M onitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatments, and outcomes

  • Provide guidance and support to patients' family members, caregivers, and other support groups in maximizing patients' abilities.

  • Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into the treatment plans.

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment.

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Passionate about implementation of activities of daily living

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to prioritize workload, complete required documentation, manage time efficiently, and work independently.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to work with patients of varying physical abilities.

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and digital therapeutic tools is a plus.

  • Collaboration and open communication are highly valued

  • Qualifications:

  • Licensed in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain immediate licensure

  • Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a healthcare or Pediatric setting.

  • Work Environment:

  • Pediatric Setting

  • Monday-Friday;

  • Full Time, Salaried position
