Job Description & How to Apply Below

An excellent opportunity has become available for an organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join a busy and growing engineering business within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration sector.

This is a fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for coordinating field engineers, managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, responding to reactive call-outs and ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service.

If you have previous experience as a Service Coordinator, Service Controller, Scheduler, Planner or Service Administrator within an engineering or HVAC environment, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Working closely with engineers, customers and suppliers, you'll coordinate planned and reactive service work across a portfolio of commercial clients. You'll manage engineer schedules, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), arrange parts and materials, process service documentation and support the day-to-day running of the service department.

The role also involves communicating with customers regarding service updates, raising quotations where required, processing completed work for invoicing and ensuring accurate records are maintained using the company's service management system.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous experience coordinating mobile engineers within a service, facilities management, HVAC or engineering environment.

You should have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a Service Coordinator, Service Controller or similar role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience scheduling engineers for planned and reactive maintenance
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using service management systems
  • The ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment
  • A calm and professional approach when dealing with customers and engineers
  • A full UK driving licence

Previous experience within the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration or HVAC industry would be highly advantageous but is not essential.

What's On Offer
  • Salary of £24,420 - £38,800 depending on experience
  • Monday-Friday working hours (8:00am-5:00pm)
  • Office-based role with future hybrid working discussions
  • 26 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Company pension
  • Free on-site parking
  • Sick pay
  • Employee discounts
  • Bereavement leave
  • Ongoing training and long-term career development

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll play a key role in keeping engineers moving, customers informed and service delivery running efficiently.
