Quantity Surveyor (Up to 3 Years' Experience)

We are working with a well-established and growing construction business in Preston that is looking to appoint a motivated and detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career to gain hands‑on experience across a range of projects while being supported in their professional development.

You will play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered commercially and efficiently. Working alongside senior team members, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Preparing and evaluating subcontractor packages and tenders
• Supporting the management of valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance
• Liaising with site teams, clients, and supply chain partners
• Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations

• Degree‑qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Up to 3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (contractor or consultancy)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams
• Proactive, organised, and keen to learn and develop
• Working toward (or interested in pursuing) professional accreditation (e.g., RICS)
