Secondary Tutor 1:1
Our Secondary Tutors play a vital role in supporting students who need extra help in core subjects. We understand that every learner's journey is unique; that's why we offer flexible hours to fit around your schedule and the opportunity to make a genuine, lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons in Maths and English tailored to secondary learning levels.
- Adapt lesson content and pace to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Support students in developing subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
- Build a trusting and consistent rapport to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as needed.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at secondary level.
- Experience working with learners in a 1:1 or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
- PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
