Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a number of inclusive and forward-thinking mainstream primary schools across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Due to increased investment in SEND provision and early intervention support, we are seeking qualified Therapy Professionals to work directly within school settings.
These roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children’s outcomes by embedding therapeutic support into daily school life.

Speech & Language Therapists
Occupational Therapists
Play Therapists
Child Counsellors
Behaviour / SEMH Specialists
Sensory Integration Practitioners
Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexibility depending on school needs and candidate preference.
The Role
As a Therapy Professional within a mainstream primary setting, you will:
Deliver targeted and early intervention programmes
Support pupils with communication, sensory, SEMH and developmental needs
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers and support staff
Contribute to support plans and graduated response frameworks
Provide practical strategies to staff and guidance for parents where appropriate
This is a school-based role, offering the opportunity to see consistent progress and build strong relationships within one setting or a small cluster of local schools.
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold relevant professional qualifications and registration (HCPC, BACP, RCOT, RCSLT or equivalent where applicable)
Have experience supporting primary-aged children
Be confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Be proactive, adaptable and solution-focused
Be passionate about inclusive education and early intervention

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
