Teacher of Art & Design – Secondary School in Blackpool, Lancashire – Part-Time – September 2026 Start

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art & Design for a long‑term temporary position in Blackpool, Lancashire. The role will commence in September 2026 and continue until January 2027, working part‑time Monday to Wednesday.

• Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire creativity and encourage students to achieve their full potential
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff
• Contribute to the continued success of the Art department

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Art & Design in a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be passionate about delivering high‑quality teaching and learning
• Be able to provide relevant references and undertake an enhanced DBS check

• Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system (daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration)
