Make a Difference as an SEN Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our team, supporting pupils with additional learning needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in Blackpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to helping every child reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
  • Monitor progress and encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and personal growth.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs (desirable).
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
