About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and supportive schools across Blackpool from September 2026
.

These rewarding roles involve supporting pupils in the classroom, working alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their full potential. Opportunities are available in both mainstream classrooms and specialist SEN settings, with positions including one-to-one, small group, and whole-class support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one, small group, or classroom support as required.
  • Assist pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs where appropriate.
  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff.

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
  • Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or are keen to develop in this area.
  • Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are flexible, reliable, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential for candidates with suitable experience.
