Locum Social Worker Position Available in Duty & Assessment Team in Blackpool, UK – £39 Hourly, Ongoing

Join us in a dynamic role as a locum Social Worker within the Duty and Assessment Team in vibrant Blackpool. What you will do:
  • Manage safeguarding duties on a rota basis and conduct thorough assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 frameworks.
  • Develop and implement safety plans and interventions tailored to the needs of children and families.
  • Execute pre-birth assessments and manage complex cases involving child protection, Child in Need, and PLO/Pre-proceedings.
  • Produce high-quality work, including court statements and assessments, and support the team manager in mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Be a role model, facilitating learning opportunities and reflection, while driving improvements in quality and performance.
