Blackpool Salary: up to £30,000 (DoE) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are excited to offer an opportunity for a highly organised Buyer to join a growing, family-run business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen on handling multiple aspects of purchasing and supplier coordination. Day-to-day of the role:
Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers across multiple trades. Source and procure materials, plant hire, and subcontractor services. Raise and manage purchase orders. Negotiate costs and achieve the best value for the business. Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, engineers, and internal teams. Monitor lead times and ensure materials arrive for scheduled works. Maintain accurate purchasing records and spreadsheets. Liaise with operational teams regarding material requirements.

Receive and organise deliveries for planned projects. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Support reactive and planned maintenance projects nationwide. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities with high attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills. Confident liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Benefits:
