Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our private client based in Blackpool, Lancashire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working across inpatient, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) settings, focusing on adult psychiatry. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality psychiatric care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and formulating individualised treatment plans. The successful candidate must hold Section 12 approval and be an Approved Clinician. You will be expected to act as the Responsible Clinician (RC), collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with relevant mental health legislation and clinical standards.

  • Full GMC registration (essential)

  • Experience in adult psychiatry across inpatient, CMHT, and PICU settings
