We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of cardiology. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and contributing to the success of our healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse cardiology cases and make a significant impact on patient care.

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their cardiac health.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients with various cardiac conditions.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Provide education to patients and their families on cardiac health and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Cardiology.
• Board certification in Cardiology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Cardiologist.
• Proven experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule:

24-hour call, specific dates

Patient Volume: 25 per shift

Support Staff: APPs, nurses

EMR: eCW

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
