Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat mental health and addiction concerns
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
  • Manage caseloads and participate in emergency services
  • Ensure follow-up care and participate in staffing and meetings
  • Support management activities and community education
  • Adhere to quality assurance and legal regulations
  • Complete evaluations and participate in on-call rotations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective communication, reading, and interpreting skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records
  • Ability to work in a team and with diverse populations
  • Experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and residency in psychiatry
  • Child & adolescent psychiatry specialization (if applicable)
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Valid medical license in the state
