Clinician - NRV Recovery Court

Overview

The New River Valley Recovery Court Team is looking for a Clinician. The Recovery Court Clinician provides direct community treatment services for participants of the Recovery Court Program who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder and are involved with the criminal justice system. The Clinician works as a part of the Recovery Court Team to provide comprehensive evaluations, psycho-education, and individual and group counseling services.

Develops and maintains working relationships with participants and the Recovery Court Team to identify areas of need and ensure quality services.

• Provide direct community treatment services for Recovery Court participants with substance use disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations.
• Deliver psycho-education, individual counseling, and group counseling services.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with participants and the Recovery Court Team to identify areas of need and ensure quality services.

• Master s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field is required.
• Virginia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred.
• At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.

Starting Salary: $50,400 - Depending on Experience

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
