Marketing & Admissions Specialist (Finance)

Heritage Hall Blacksburg has an immediate opening for a Marketing and Admissions Specialist
. The Marketing and Admissions Specialist
's mission is to build and grow census by developing the market and providing prospective patients/responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing a nursing home. The primary responsibility of the Marketing and Admissions Specialist is to develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources, leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources to achieve a consistent flow of quality referrals. Build and grow census by developing the market and providing prospective patients and responsible parties with information and assistance in choosing a nursing home.

Qualifications
  • BS degree in marketing or sales with emphasis in healthcare or related field (work experience or field work in social services will be considered in lieu of college degree).
  • Experience in long-term care preferred
  • Experience in marketing or sales
  • Be willing to travel overnight occasionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various types of people, both orally and in written format
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of admissions/marketing practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing admissions/marketing functions in a long-term care facility
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to review current marketing strategies and use that knowledge to develop new and improved marketing goals independently and insightfully
