As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the Cardiac Medical Unit, collaborating with physicians and the care team. You will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage," and act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate patient needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One or more years of applicable RN experience required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice or having an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment start date.
