The OpportunityA great opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a respected social housing contractor delivering a 7-unit new build residential scheme in Blackwood. This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, ideal for someone who enjoys smaller schemes where quality, programme and client engagement are key.
You’ll manage the project from start on site through to handover, working closely with commercial, technical and client teams to ensure a smooth and compliant build.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for :
- Full site management of a 7-unit social housing new build.
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site.
- Managing programme, quality control and sequencing.
- Ensuring all H&S requirements, inductions and RAMS are followed.
- Liaising with client representatives, NHBC and Building Control.
- Managing inspections, snagging and handover processes.
- Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries.
- Maintaining site records, reports and daily diaries.
- Experience delivering residential new build projects (social housing preferred).
- Comfortable managing smaller schemes independently.
- Strong understanding of build quality, safety and compliance.
- Confident communicator with subcontractors and client teams.
- CSCS essential; SMSTS and First Aid required.
- Organised, proactive and solutions focused.
