Due to continued planned growth of our business, we are looking for a dynamic Groundworks Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen the commercial department at RMG Groundworks Ltd.

Responsibilities- Asisting and having liaison with the company’s buyer by continuing to improve the company’s procurement strategy to identify and analyse financial commercial risks and to inform the wider team of the implications if any.
- Allocation of works to Sub Contractors within budget.
- Manage Sub Contractors and their applications and issuing the relevant notices.
- Submitting Applications for Payments to clients.
- Visiting sites for valuations/variations and meetings as required.
- Management of site level change management.
- Working within agreed timescales set by the Commercial Director.
- Maintaining strong relations with our valued clients, whilst operating under standard forms of Contracts such as NEC, JCT and the housing developers standard procedures and terms.
- Developing process and procedures to benefit the business.
- Produce internal/external valuations and establish your site’s period financial position through producing a Cost & Value reconciliation report.
- HNC or HND or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- 5 years experience as a fully functional Quantity Surveyor within the Construction Industry and experience in Groundworks and Civil Engineering is desirable.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent Communicator with strong presentable skills.
- Able to form constructive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients.
- Ensuring application debtors are minimised and prompt Final Accounts are settled.
- Competitive salary dependant on experience.
- Flexible working hours available at the discretion of the Director.
