Systems Integration & Test Lead Engineer
Full-time, Permanent, Compensation: GBP 59,200 - GBP 80,000 yearly

Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of system integrators and testers to ensure the quality of system modifications through effective build and testing strategies.
- Develop test plans and strategies, oversee test execution, analyse results, and deliver assurance tests and reports.
- Mentor and coach team members and influence the implementation of Systems Engineering practices.
- Work with Systems Engineering, design, and product/supplier teams to create efficient test plans and liaise with the customer test lead to deliver evidence for system acceptance.
- Lead the test programme execution, report on progress, and manage issues and risks with the Programme Lead Engineer.
- Monitor and optimise testing processes, define and track relevant metrics, and ensure alignment of testing goals with business objectives.
- Background in testing communications and networking equipment; experience in a military domain is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of system testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership experience managing multi‑faceted Test and Acceptance projects.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience managing teams and projects.
- Direct experience working with customers to accept system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with multiple internal and external teams and prioritise work around programme milestones.
- Salary £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working: minimum 2/3 days per week on site or full‑time on site.
- Compressed nine‑day fortnight with every other Friday off.
