Are you an experienced, commercially focused finance professional looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced, multi-site business?
We're recruiting for a number of Divisional Financial Controllers to join a growing finance team supporting a large, national organisation during an exciting period of expansion and transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior operational leaders, influence commercial decisions, and help shape the future of a rapidly evolving business.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll partner with operational leaders to drive financial performance, provide commercial insight, and lead the finance function for your division.
Key Responsibilities Business partner with senior operational leaders to drive profitability and support strategic decision-making.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting and monthly management accounts process.
Analyse financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities and key trends.
Prepare financial models and business cases for investment and growth initiatives.
Build strong relationships across operational and finance teams, promoting financial awareness throughout the business.
Lead, develop and mentor finance team members.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and statutory requirements.
Support year-end reporting, audits, balance sheet integrity and working capital management.
About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).3 years' post-qualified experience.
Strong financial control and business partnering experience.
Previous experience within a multi-site organisation is advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP/finance systems.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a changing environment.
A natural leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams.
