CIAM Consultant (Customer Identity & Access Management) London (Hybrid) Salary:
Up to £60,000 Were supporting a leading global technology consultancy as they continue to expand their Security practice with an experienced Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Consultant. This is a specialist CIAM opportunity not a general IAM role suited to someone with hands-on experience designing and delivering customer identity solutions within complex enterprise environments. Youll work closely with clients to deliver secure, seamless identity experiences, helping organisations manage millions of customer identities while balancing security, usability, and regulatory requirements.
What youll be doing:
Designing and implementing Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions Translating business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical designs Advising clients on CIAM best practices, governance, and identity strategy Working with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver identity transformation programmes Supporting modern authentication approaches including passwordless, adaptive authentication, and fraud prevention Helping clients improve identity security while delivering seamless customer experiences Supporting delivery across complex technology programmes and work streams What theyre looking for: 3 years commercial experience within CIAM / Identity & Access Management Strong understanding of:
Authentication and authorisation Federation Identity lifecycle management Customer identity solutions Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms such as:
Okta, Forge Rock, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra / Azure AD B2C, Experience delivering technology solutions in client-facing environments Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders Understanding of data privacy regulations including GDPR Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills Desirable experience:
Zero Trust security models Adaptive authentication API security Identity governance frameworks ISO 27001 / NIST / COBIT Cloud platforms, APIs, and directory services Leading work streams or supporting small project teams Whats on offer:
