Our client, a well-established manufacturer within the plastics sector, is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join their team in Hengoed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled injection mould toolmaker to work on the manufacture, maintenance and improvement of production tooling within a modern manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities- Toolmaker
- Manufacture new injection mould tools from engineering drawings and 3D CAD data.
- Repair, maintain and modify existing production tooling.
- Operate toolroom machinery safely and efficiently.
- Support tooling and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Assist with apprentice development and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

- Qualified Toolmaker with experience in injection mould tooling.
- CNC machining experience.
- CAD/CAM knowledge.
- Experience working with hardened steel production tools.
- Knowledge of hot runner systems, valve gates and manifolds.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
