Your new company A well established food manufacturing business in the Dungannon area is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join its Quality team. Your new role As Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the Quality Assurance function on site. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will carry out routine quality checks, verify product compliance against customer specifications and support food safety and quality systems across the factory. Your responsibilities will include process verification checks, calibration activities, ATP and allergen testing, raw material intake assessments, shelf-life testing and laboratory sample management.
You will also support product quality initiatives through taste panels and ongoing monitoring activities to ensure standards are maintained throughout production. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 1 year's experience in a Quality Assurance role in food manufacturing HACCP Level 2 qualification Food Safety Level 3 qualification Experience working with Technical Systems and Food Safety Standards Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality-related activities Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications What you'll get in return Opportunity to join a busy and supportive Quality team within a successful food manufacturing environment Hands-on experience across quality assurance, food safety, calibration, allergen management and product testing activities Monday-Friday shift pattern with available shifts of 6:00am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm Exposure to customer specifications, technical systems and food manufacturing quality standards Opportunity to further develop your technical and quality expertise within a fast-moving manufacturing environment Competitive salary and benefits package, with long-term development opportunities available.
