Location: Blaenavon
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CAD Technician to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CAD professional with a strong engineering background and experience using Solid Works to play a key role in the design and development of engineering projects. You'll be working on a variety of bespoke engineering solutions, with many projects being supplied to clients across the globe, offering exposure to large-scale international work.

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using Solid Works
• Develop and modify designs in line with customer and project requirements
• Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and drawing records
• Support projects from concept through to manufacture
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards

• Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline
• Proven experience using Solid Works
• Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Salary up to £45,000 per annum
