Job Responsibilities- Define, plan, and complete complex engineering projects, including multi‑site programs, with innovation and urgency, ensuring product quality meets or exceeds technology‑specific workmanship standards.
- Understand and optimize advanced parameters and variables on Resonetics technology that affect outputs and product quality.
- Independently perform complex setup, system troubleshooting, and process development on Resonetics technology to produce acceptable engineering product.
- Take initiative and responsibility to lead the completion of tasks and projects, ensuring high quality of deliverables and working across several departments as required.
- Maintain high productivity and independence, solve problems independently before seeking assistance, and continuously seek additional responsibilities.
- Participate in project analysis, parameter development, problem solving, and solution implementation for various engineering projects.
- Lead and drive quotes to completion as assigned for complex single and multi‑site projects.
- Lead customer calls and internal meetings, communicating effectively and driving progress forward with high quality results.
- Proactively communicate with the customer on issues with a recovery plan, status, and results of an order.
- Write advanced programs to measure engineering product using site‑specific metrology equipment and execute test method validations for products moving into production.
- Read and interpret print specifications on engineering projects, ensuring all required visual and geometric measurements are taken and documented per Quality System requirements.
- Lead multiple projects through the Production Readiness Process, from engineering to production, driving a cross‑functional team to project completion.
- Provide mentorship and technical skill training to engineering technicians, associate engineers, and applications development engineers.
- Document process parameters and project details for each engineering project accurately per Resonetics Quality System requirements, generating professional and easy‑to‑follow setup sheets and work instructions, and completing CAPAs as required.
- Recognize and report unmet customer needs applicable to Resonetics technology to the Advanced Technology Group.
- Take ownership of data and metrics that contribute to site success and enforce data integrity, monitoring individual and peer data in Resonetics digital systems for accuracy, and communicating with the team if discrepancies are identified.
- Allocate time and attention based on what is more important to achieve key goals and objectives, effectively organize and balance tasks with structure and purpose to keep multiple projects on track.
- Pursue continuous self‑improvement, open and willing to accept constructive criticism.
- Lead and execute advanced technology group activities and deliverables as assigned.
- Participate in sales support activities, including sales presentations, customer visits, and technical seminars.
- Lead cross‑departmental teams in continuous improvement projects that benefit Resonetics.
- Demonstrate understanding of all technologies and facilities across Resonetics.
- Adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes.
- Support Resonetics overall goals and production problem solving, contributing to Resonetics programs as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or equivalent experience.
