Senior Building Automation Programmer Direct Hire | Blaine, MN | $100,000 - $120,000

We’re seeking a Senior Building Automation Programmer to join a growing Siemens integrator and support BAS projects from design handoff through commissioning and turnover. This is a programming- and engineering-focused role, responsible for system architecture, controller programming, integration, commissioning, and customer support. The position offers visibility, autonomy, and a path toward technical leadership.

• Program, test, and commission Siemens DDC building automation systems.
• Develop and implement control sequences, graphics, alarms, and trend strategies.
• Integrate BAS systems with VFDs, meters, third-party devices, and networks (BACnet/IP, MS/TP, Modbus).
• Partner with Project Managers, electricians, and commissioning agents to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Support system validation, functional testing, and owner training.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BAS programmers and technicians.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing customer systems.

• 5+ years of BAS programming experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Siemens BAS programming experience (Desigo, Apogee, or similar).
• Tridium Niagara (N4) experience or certification strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control theory, and energy optimization.
• Experience with VFDs, control networks, and system integration.
• Proficient with laptops and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
