PositionSummary
The EHS & Sustainability Manager (EHS&S Manager) is a technical expert in environmental, sustainability and ESG compliance and reporting. This role will create and submit required reports, facilitate our ESG initiatives, and work closely with Human Resources, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to develop ESG strategies, improvement targets and execution plans. Reporting to the Director of EHS & Facilities, the EHS&S Manager will engage with global leaders to develop, execute and continuously improve ESG & sustainability efforts across our network, aligning initiatives with customer expectations and communicating progress throughout the organization.
Responsibilities- Environment, Social, Governance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and reporting expectations; work as an ESG committee member to accommodate customer requests and internal goals.
- Sustainability: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint in line with ESG objectives and customer expectations.
- Safety Leadership: Drive a strong safety culture, promote safe work practices, and ensure employee safety through training, education, incident investigation and resolution.
- Environmental Management: Support sites globally to comply with local, state and federal regulations; assist with key environmental reporting efforts such as TRI & Tier II submittals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources—to integrate EHS considerations into all business aspects and drive continuous improvement; engage subject matter experts and external partners as needed.
- Communication & Leadership: Proactively track and articulate risks related to ESG & sustainability reporting; influence without direct authority and ensure timely data collection for submittals.
- Professional Engagement: Support Health & Safety initiatives as required and demonstrate flexibility across the organization.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, safety engineering, sustainability, engineering) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in EHS & sustainability reporting; demonstrated ability to develop and execute ESG & sustainability initiatives.
- Experience with facility operations in a manufacturing setting and strong understanding of relevant regulations, industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with medical device manufacturing.
- Ability and willingness to travel, including internationally, up to 20% of the time.
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications, with an anticipated range of $96,000 – $142,000. For temp, temp‑to‑hire and regular full‑time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
