Technology & Innovation Consultant

This is a remote role which requires travel onsite for client project work up to 50%.

EMA, an employee-owned consulting firm serving water and wastewater utilities, is seeking a Technology & Innovation Consultant who brings technical expertise, curiosity, and the ability to connect technology decisions to the bigger picture.

You will work with clients and EMA colleagues to understand operational challenges, evaluate IT/OT environments, strengthen cybersecurity, and develop practical digital solutions. Your work may include technology planning, applications and data workflows, systems integration, and responsible use of AI and analytics.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Apply technology to solve operational and business problems.
• Bring expertise in IT/OT, cybersecurity, software development, systems integration, or utility data and operations.
• Translate technical information into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
• Collaborate across disciplines and deliver thoughtful, accurate, and professional work.

Water/wastewater or other critical infrastructure experience is valuable. Curiosity, sound judgment, and a commitment to learning and quality are essential.
