Shipping and Receiving Team Lead

• Mentor, instruct, and foster the professional growth of the shipping and receiving staff.
• Oversee stock organization and coordinate the timing of inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Distribute daily tasks to ensure all shipping and production targets are successfully achieved.
• Generate shipping manifests and finalize the processing of customer orders.
• Resolve issues related to damaged inventory, shipment errors, or inquiries from vendors and clients.
• Review purchase orders and oversee the maintenance of all shipping documentation.
• Operate equipment to load and unload freight, including the handling of hazardous items.
• Liaise with external suppliers, logistics providers, and carriers like Fed Ex and UPS.
• Utilize ERP systems to input data, extract information, and compile operational reports.
• Uphold a secure, orderly, and high-quality work environment to ensure team safety.
• Support management by providing input on performance evaluations and verifying timecards.

• Proficiency with computer systems and the capacity to adhere to established protocols.
• Effective leadership, interpersonal communication, and analytical problem‑solving capabilities.
• Flexibility to put in extra hours as the business requires.
• Physical capacity to occasionally handle items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Compensation is set between $26 and $36 per hour, with a standard work week running Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
