The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining a mutually beneficial working environment for the location’s employees, providing management, communication and leadership to facilitate sound business decisions across multiple customer contracts to ensure division success.

- Assume complete responsibility for the assigned Construction Division, its operations, equipment and facilities.
- Assume responsibility for safety requirements by holding others accountable and supporting commitment to worker safety, worker’s compensation loss management and DOT compliance in coordination with the EHS department.
- Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enable efficient service delivery.
- Identify, analyze and report key performance indicators of divisional operations and hold stakeholders at all levels accountable to them.
- Monitor and hold others accountable to maintaining an effective work schedule and quality control program to ensure the Company’s promises of quality and timeliness are met.
- Coordinate employee and subcontractor schedules, budgeting time required to meet production deadlines safely.
- When utilized, work closely with Project Management personnel to ensure smooth departmental hand‑offs and appropriate information flow.
- Acquire complete knowledge of assigned contracts, including in‑depth knowledge of units, pricing, systems and other specific customer requirements; train direct reports to this knowledge.
- Seek new business opportunities and actively participate in bid compilation and contract negotiations.
- Negotiate unit additions with customers as they arise.
- Acquire knowledge of business finances on a weekly basis and adjust work activities to prioritize financial success.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with safety requirements and contract terms.
- Ensure equipment is maintained per established Manufacturer and Company standards.
- Manage equipment procurement needs using cost‑vs‑benefit analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of employee time and production records; address discrepancies following company processes.
- Participate in onboarding of new subcontractors and manage workforce acquisition in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Deliver and document positive and negative feedback promptly, aligned with Company procedures for performance reviews.
- Create and maintain individual employee development plans; seek opportunities for employee development.
- May perform duties of field personnel as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an industry‑related engineering or project management field, plus 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience.
- Telecommunications industry‑specific experience, or a combination of education and experience is required.
- Proven leadership in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Strong negotiation and consensus‑building skills.
- Commitment to technology‑driven process improvement.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and cloud‑based tools required; strong knowledge of Google Workspace strongly preferred.
- Travel required.
