WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
* Responsible for maintaining the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies of sophisticated automation equipment.
* Support the design and implementation of automated manufacturing production lines.
* Integrate automated systems into manufacturing and assembly lines.
* Work with Automation Engineers on capital planning and acquisition projects and supporting implementation and validation of equipment.
* Documentation of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic alterations and additions to equipment at various stages.
* Work closely with the maintenance group, beyond authoring PMI’s, to collaboratively equip maintenance with the skills vital to maintain factory equipment.## YOU HAVE:
* High School diploma or equivalent experience with 2 years engineering / technical experience in a manufacturing environment or Technical College. Diploma/AAS (2-year) degree from an accredited post-secondary institution preferred.
* Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI), control systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron) and control components.
* Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics including knowledge of redlining schematics for updates.
* Experience in wiring electrical control panels or equipment remote actuators and inputs and outputs as well plumbing equipment, pneumatic or/and hydraulic lines.
* Experience in validating new equipment capability, repeatability and capacity prior to introduction to the production floor.
