As a Full‑time Nurse Practitioner (NP), you’ll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blaine, WA. The role supports our Occupational Health line of service. The anticipated work schedule is Monday‑Thursday 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and rotating Fridays 8:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m. Flexibility in offering less than 40 hours per week is possible. No nights, weekends or holidays.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manage required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
- Conduct fitness‑for‑duty and return‑to‑work physical exams as requested
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Provide medically appropriate care to injured workers using evidence‑based guidelines, expedite return to meaningful work, and collaborate with TPA and client to quarterback case management
- Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and health‑care teams for comprehensive care
- Collaborate with Medical Director and client stakeholders on Health Promotion programs, surveillance needs, and other related safety/injury prevention opportunities
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date documentation
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- State RN license or certificate to practice
- NP license or certificate to practice
- State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (or transcript if not explicitly nursing)
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health‑care providers;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services - Board certification in occupational health (COHN/COHN‑S/COHN‑S/CM) preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and expected range of compensation for this job of $128,000–$ annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

Premise offers paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0769 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
