*** JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
** MCC’s Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors to provide personal enrichment opportunities to members of our community. This position will have various teaching opportunities throughout the year and will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and practical course content that enhances students’ personal growth and enriches their lives. Most classes are held on weeknights and weekends.

MCC will hold classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area including Fremont and Blair.
** ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
** Teach a various topics including but not limited to:

Adobe InDesign  Animal Service Dog Training  Archeology  Archery  Artificial Intelligence  Astronomy  Blackjack  DIY home décor and crafts  Dog Training/Grooming  Equestrian/Horses  Fitness  Foreign language learning:
Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali, Japanese  Home repair and maintenance  Lotion Making  Meteorology/Geology/Astrology  Mindfulness  Music appreciation and performance  Pet care and training  Photography  Rock Climbing  Screen-printing  Self-defense  Skilled Pottery  Soap making  STEM  Stress management  Sustainability and eco-living  Thrifting  Travel  Woodworking and DIY Projects
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* • Teaching experience (kids/teens/adults/seniors)  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging and practical course content  
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment

In 1992, the Legislature voted to change the name to Metropolitan Community College Area.
