Responsibilities- Provide daily care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Administer medications and treatments under the direction of licensed nursing staff (for CMAs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Monitor residents’ well-being and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members.
- Communicate compassionately with residents and their families.
- (For CMA's) Successful completion of a State 40-hour Certified Medication Aide - CMA, course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
- (For CMA's and CNA's) Successful completion of a State 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA, course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
- Must remain in good standing with the Nursing Assistant registry.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
