- Senior Building Surveyor / Associate Director – Bournemouth
- Salary:
Up to £75,000 + Outstanding Bonus + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor or Associate Director to join a well-established, independent property and construction consultancy based in Bournemouth.
This is a senior position within a successful Building Surveying team, offering the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of commercial projects and professional instructions throughout the South Coast.
The role would suit an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor looking for a position offering a high level of autonomy, excellent earning potential and genuine progression within an established consultancy.
Role & Responsibilities- Delivering a broad range of professional Building Surveying services
- Contract administration and project management of refurbishment and improvement projects
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works and tender documentation
- Undertaking building surveys and technical due diligence
- Dilapidations for both landlords and tenants
- Planned maintenance and defect diagnosis
- Managing projects from initial instruction through to completion
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities
- Managing and mentoring junior members of the Building Surveying team
- MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
- Strong consultancy Building Surveying background
- Either project or professional biased building surveying experience will be considered
- Good knowledge of building pathology, construction and relevant legislation
- Strong contract administration experience
- Confident managing clients and projects independently
- Commercially minded with strong communication skills
- Experience mentoring or managing junior surveyors would be advantageous
- Suitable for an established Senior Building Surveyor or Associate looking to progress their career
- Basic salary up to £75,000 depending on experience
