About the Opportunity

You’ll become part of a private dental team, providing essential clinical support and helping deliver a smooth, positive experience for patients.

  • Supporting clinicians with general and orthodontic treatments.
  • Maintaining strict decontamination and infection control standards.

  • Working closely with the wider team to keep appointments running efficiently.
  • Contributing to a professional and welcoming atmosphere throughout the practice.
Your Clinical Background

This role would suit a nurse who enjoys variety and is interested in working across:

  • General Dentistry – assisting with routine dental care and general clinical procedures.
  • Orthodontics – supporting orthodontic treatments and associated patient appointments.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your existing experience while continuing to develop your skills in a varied private practice setting.

What We’re Looking For
  • Fully qualified Dental Nurses with current GDC registration.
  • Experienced in a private dental practice.
  • Confident and efficient when assisting chairside.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and naturally sociable.
  • Professional, dependable and organised.
  • Strong communicators who enjoy patient interaction.
  • Committed to high standards of patient care.
  • Able to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the team.

Your personality matters just as much as your clinical ability. The practice is keen to find someone bubbly, approachable and confident who will help create a positive experience for both patients and colleagues.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday.

40 hours per week.

Working hours generally fall between 8:30am and 7:00pm, with some variation in start times depending on the rota.

No regular weekend working is specified.

Location & Parking

The position is based in Bournemouth. There is no dedicated parking at the practice, but nearby options include paid on-street parking, multi-storey car parks and Park & Ride facilities.

What Makes This Role Worth Considering
  • £15–£17 per hour, based on experience.
  • Permanent, full-time employment.
  • Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
  • Private practice environment.
  • A varied caseload spanning general dentistry and orthodontics.
  • GDC fees paid and uniform supplied.
