Rehabilitation Officer - Hearing Impairment
Do you have significant experience of working with profoundly deaf adults in their own homes and community? Do you have the minimum of a Level 3 British Sign Language (BSL) qualification? Do you have the confidence to work single handed and to drive to multiple locations across rural Dorset?
Millbrook Healthcare is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual, to work alongside supportive and knowledgeable colleagues in our small, friendly and well-established Sight and Hearing service?
Our Sight and Hearing service based within the Dorset Home Improvement Agency (HIA) is dedicated to the provision of rehabilitation, information, advice, and equipment to facilitate the independence and well-being of adults with sight and hearing impairments. We work closely with colleagues in adult social care, the Health Service, community and third sector organisations, providing a flexible, broad ranging, person-centred service.
The successful candidate with be based between our two offices in Blandford and Dorchester and will be required to travel to home visits, meetings, and other events within the catchment area for Dorset Council.

What can we offer you:
A Salary of £24,315.20
per annum for 20 hours a week spread over four days, Monday to Friday
33 days holiday (pro-rata to hours worked and inclusive of bank holidays) with the option for up to 5 additional purchased days leave (dependant on agreement and approval)
