Fabric Maintenance Engineer required in Blandford Forum

My client looking for a reliable and motivated Fabric Maintenance Operative to join our team in Blandford Forum on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team carrying out a variety of building fabric maintenance tasks across our sites. For the right candidate, there is the potential for this role to become a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

• Carry out general building fabric maintenance and repairs.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting and decorating, patch plastering, and minor plumbing repairs.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, flooring, ceilings, and other building fabric elements.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Identify maintenance issues and report any defects requiring specialist attention.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work where required.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.

• Has previous experience in building fabric maintenance or a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Has practical skills across a range of general maintenance disciplines.
• Can work independently and manage their workload effectively.
• Has a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Has good communication and customer service skills.
