As a Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements
• Driving quality strategy, KPIs and governance across the Blandford site (with travel to Poole when required)
• Overseeing APQP and ensuring accurate, on-time PPAP submissions
• Implementing in-process quality controls, including audits, error-proofing and process capability studies
• Managing customer and supplier quality performance, including complaints, audits and corrective actions
• Reducing scrap, rework and cost of poor quality through data-driven problem solving

As a Quality Manager, your experience will include:

• Leadership experience within manufacturing quality management
• Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA
• Hands-on experience with metrology, GD&T, jigs, fixtures and capability analysis
• Exposure to processes such as forming, fabricating, welding, machining or assembly
• Confident customer-facing communication and supplier development skills
• A structured, analytical approach to problem solving using tools such as 8D and 5-Why
