At eXPD8 we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Blandford (DT11 9PU
). You’ll be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household‑name brands. While you’ll be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.
You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well‑stocked. The role will span a variety of categories, including general merchandising such as books, gift cards and cosmetics.
Working hours- Monday – 2 hours
- Wednesday – 2 hours
- Friday – 3 hours
- Hours may increase up to roughly 12 hours, with a minimum of 7 hours.
- Plus ad‑hoc work as agreed.
- Compliance and Standards
- Stick to merchandising standards, store policies and health and safety guidance.
- Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Product Placement and Replenishment
- Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
- Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
- Strong communication and relationship building
- Build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, especially department and store managers.
- Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application.
- Experience or passion for merchandising, retail and/or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive ownership of work within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions
- Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
- Comfortable with manual handling – moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor
- Willing to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra)
- Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus
