Contract: Full-time Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £29,344 £ 44,919

Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
- Teach across Humanities subjects (e.g. History, Geography, or Religious Studies), depending on specialism.
- Plan and develop stimulating schemes of work that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
- Encourage students to explore diverse perspectives and develop analytical and evaluative skills.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, enrichment activities, and extracurricular opportunities.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check and professional references.
